Black Moon | Who's Got The Props | Enta da Stage | Nervous Records 1993.
Enta da Stage is the debut album of American East Coast hip hop group Black Moon, released on October 19, 1993 through Nervous Records. Despite being critically acclaimed and having two singles that charted on the Billboard Hot 100 ("Who Got da Props?" and "I Got Cha Opin"), the album sold poorly, and is often overlooked in favor of subsequent East Coast albums. Nonetheless, Enta da Stage preceded those releases and served as a precursor to the resurgence of the New York hip hop scene in the mid-1990s.

Did he really get count all his stats to get a triple-double? I know damn well goodyear blimp wasnt flying around sayin Ice Cubes a pimp...this guy clearly was dreaming...1 of my favorite songs tho. Check yo self was a cool track, I think I enjoyed the video alot more tho...that chick cop had a baw-dy. Lol and Cube put ol boy in that weak head lock....ah man....classic.

The song contains a fast-paced beat intertwined with Jackson's lyrics about a woman named Annie, who has been attacked in her apartment by Mr. Big/Frankie Lideo. "Temptations" is the name of a song by rapper Tupac Shakur. It was released as the third single of his third album Me Against the World. The song was produced by Easy Mo Bee. The song was moderately successful in the United States, peaking at number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video featured cameos from fellow West Coast rappers, Ice-T, Coolio, B-Real, and Warren G, as well as Salt-N-Pepa, Treach, Bill Bellamy, and Jada Pinkett Smith. Tupac couldn't be in the video for the song because he was incarcerated. The song peaked at #13 on the U.S. Rap chart, #35 on the U.S. Hip Hop/R&B chart and #68 on the Billboard Hot 100. One of my favorite tracks by Pac.

"They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)" is a song by Pete Rock and CL Smooth, inspired by the death of their close friend Troy Dixon (better known as "Trouble" T. Roy of Heavy D & the Boyz) in 1990. The song was the lead single off their debut album, Mecca and the Soul Brother, released in 1992, and later became a staple of classic early 90's hip hop. The song peaked at #58 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart. One of my FAVORITE songs.

It's Dark and Hell Is Hot is the debut album of rapper DMX, released May 19, 1998 on Def Jam subsidiary Ruff Ryders Records. The album featured four singles with music videos, "Get at Me Dog", "Stop Being Greedy", "How's It Goin' Down" and the "Ruff Ryders Anthem".
Critic reviews were largely positive. DMX commands an aggressive aura without even speaking a word". One of the best debut rap albums and one of my favorite songs ever!

"How High" is a hit song about cannabis smoking by rappers Method Man & Redman. It performed better on the Billboard Hot 100 than any other song that Redman ever released and only one song that Method Man released, reaching number thirteen on the Billboard Hot 100. It is the first Method Man and Redman collaboration and is considered the foundation of their popularity as a duo. It was originally featured on the soundtrack to hip hop movie, The Show, but has since been featured in The Hip Hop Box, Def Jam's Greatest Hits and other compilations.

The album was principally recorded at the legendary Manhattan-based studio, The Hit Factory. The album was notable for its overt sexual tone and Kim's lyrical delivery, which was praised by music critics soon after its release. Classic Album!

"Nas Is Like" is the first single from Nas' third album I Am.... The song is the sixth collaboration between Nas and producer DJ Premier. It was critically well received as it was a change from the more commercial and pop-oriented singles from It Was Written and The Firm. The song contains a combination of braggadocios and introspective lyrics over a choppy string sample. The song's beat samples Don Robertson's "Why". The main sample is still unknown. In April 2008 an unnamed mp3 was revealed by Dusty Kid from Strictly Breaks to be the original sample, and right after that it was wrongly identified as John Rydgren's "Cantata of New Life". The song also contains scratched samples from Nas' 1994 song "It Ain't Hard to Tell".
